I need some advice on this situation ive found myself in?

hello, im 37 year old man, and i have a problem. i am a married man, and i woke up this morning and i noticed i had a pain in my backside. i walked from my king sized bed to the marble covered bathroom/en-suite. i examined my backside and noticed my bum hole was red and raw. as if i was part taking in some sort of act. i was thinking long and hard while i held a bag of peas to the swollen and raw area. is it possible to have been burgled late last night, and somehow been d by the captures. i have so many questions i need answered. im afraid to tell my wife in case she thinks ive been cheating on her with a man. what should i do?
