Actual animated cartoon's for kids?

Kids just don't watch animated shows anymore, except spongebob. That show is pretty good. I remember my favorite show was Alvin and the Chipmunks. I think you can catch reruns of some of the other older shows on cartoon network, boomerang, etc.
