Does it sound like I will go to jail for this?

I'm in the united states, but from what I can tell there is no possibility of jail time. When you get your summons (which often takes over a month here in the U.S.), you will be asked to show your license. if you can, that will be dismissed, and if he didn't write you a ticket for ping, there will be no penalty. even if you get tickets for both those things, the penalties should be monetary.
