I have a few questions as to our motivation behind invading Iraq in '03...?

2. Oil was not the main incentive, considering the US has not had any control over that oil since the Iraqi people elected their first government since the start of the war. 1. part was to oust an evil dictator who was not only killing his own people, isting the training of terrorist, and did have the compounds to make WMD. (some of which have been found and removed, some to Canada). As for putting Saddam into power, that was a different time, I would ume if people could actually see the future it would have turned out differently, but at the time they were at war with an even more dangerous enemy, Iran. Congress agreed with a majority to take action, Saddam refused the UN weapons inspections, which allowed for military action to disarm the nation and remove what was found. Sadly because of delays, some of the weapons were believed to have been moved out of the country which was even more suspected when empty weapons bunkers were found in Iraq.
