What is your opinion about "the end of the world phenomenon"?

As you may know the world is apparently going to end in 2012, me myself, i am a true disbeliever of this fact. i was searching google earlier and looked up every year for the next 30 years, and up popped possibilities for "the end of the world". i thought to myself, yeah sure that may happen! but i then searched years from the past such as 1980 onwards to 2010. things such as: the arrival of an antichrist, a rapture, the war of armageddon, second arrival of jesus, flooding of the entire world, asteroids coming to earth, explosions underground and so on. so my question is- what is your opinion of all these internet posts, what do you believe, and what year do you think the world will end. don't get me wrong i sound like i have no life searching all this stuff, and i also sound as if i am worried. but all this is bullshit haha
